Welcome
We are a family-owned working farm in Huntsville, Alabama, stewarding this land since 1939. Today we continue that tradition by raising cattle and producing farm-fresh eggs, seasonal flowers, and locally grown food for our community.
Whether you’re here to find locally raised products or simply to learn more about the story of this land, we’re grateful you’re here.

Our Offerings
Keeping the Farm a Farm
Currently in America, most food travels an average of about
1,500 miles before reaching the plate.
Meanwhile, farmland near growing cities continues to disappear.
Farming itself has become increasingly rare. Less than 1% of Americans now farm for a living, according to the USDA.
The pressures on agriculture are real:
The U.S. cattle herd is currently at its lowest level since 1951.
The United States has lost over 140,000 farms and ranches in the past five years alone.
We believe it doesn’t have to be that way.
At The Farm in Jones Valley, we are committed to producing food in ways that strengthen the land and serve our community:
- Regenerative practices
- Pasture-raised eggs
- Grass-fed beef
- Seasonal garden produce
- Hand-grown cut flowers
When you purchase from the farm, you’re doing more than buying food. You’re helping:
- Build healthier soil
- Support responsible animal stewardship
- Preserve a working farm in the heart of Huntsville
Every egg, bouquet, and harvest from this land helps support this farm in being a farm, hopefully for generations to come.
